Lost Mail
Wonderful. I just found out that Pos Malaysia has officially lost my letter to Tiffius. I sent it a week or two before I left for KL, and it's already almost a month later. She did not receive it. The address I wrote was correct (double- and triple-checked it).
Can't goddesses depend on normal post these days?! Sheesh! Not to mention I was supposed to receive a package from my best friend that was sent months ago, but it never appeared. Seems to have vanished off the face of the Earth.
Again, wonderful.

Pretender
The Protagonist Boards. The Protagonist Chat. The Protagonist Community.
All of the sudden I realize how out of it I've really been. Ever since I got back from KL (or perhaps before that), I've been feeling out of place everywhere where I used to fit right in with. Now I'm just going on, visiting all the familiar places but feeling like a stranger. Because everything is strange to me now.
I'm just putting up a mask, laughing along with everything and pretending that I still belong. That everything is all right. But inside, I feel like crying because I know what I've lost out on. I used to love this community so much, and I used to wonder how on earth did I manage to find a group of people online that I can care about so much and be cared for in return. And I cherished it.
And somewhere, somehow, something has changed. Everything is just a memory now. I remember the good times I used to have, and I see it now that I don't belong. I did, but I don't anymore. I've been lying to myself all along, lying to everyone else. Nothing is real to me anymore.
Maybe I'm just confused. But there is this distance now.
Maybe it's just me.
Hunger Pangs
Yum... I saw a gingerbread house the other day. And a gingerbread Santa Claus too, wrapped in this red-and-green-and-white knitted stocking. But wouldn't it be kind of evil to eat up Mr. Santa Claus?
I didn't buy either. But it was amusing, and looks delicious at the same time.
I'm so hungry now. I haven't eaten since yesterday's lunch (which I don't really recall eating or not, but I'll just assume I did).

On another note, regarding one of the emails I got, I am now officially found, through what means I do not know yet. But the point is that my online life is no longer hidden from my offline world.
Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Normally I'd consider it good because my old offline friends and classmates wouldn't be able to do much anymore if they find my site now that we're all separated. In fact, it might even prove itself useful by letting them know the news about me, and if they keep sites I can know the news about them.
But I've been hidden away too long, it kinda feels weird to know that someone I used to go to school with is reading what I'm writing here.

Funny thing about today. I received two personal emails (well, more, but I'm just highlighting those two) from two different people from two different ends of the world, and both of them called me "Lei".
Did I somehow somewhere accidentally referred to myself as "Lei"? I don't remember. Or is it just a typo...

I loathe the fact that most colleges (I say most, because there are some that does not that this problem) in Malaysia are not properly equipped with net access. Boo! That means that if I can't get net access in college, I'll be MIA till I get home during semester breaks and/or public holidays (that lasts for more than one day).
That means Divination, Expression, Toothpaste Addict, KerfuffleCam, and Piffle is going to grow moldy. Seriously. Mushrooms are going to sprout from them soon.

I'll back up my stuff on my computer and prune my files. Whenever someone runs out of space and is in need for more, feel free to delete my things (once I'm gone, that is... not yet, I haven't backed up anything at the moment!). No point in keeping multiple un-updated sites.
I am not happy with this situation. I'm still crossing my fingers hoping that I can get online from KL. But with the way my luck is running at the moment, I doubt that'll come true. College starts early January (January 3rd for Sunway College and January 7th for Taylor's College). That's about two weeks away!

What say you? Speak now or forever hold your tongue. ;P Well, not really, but I need some fast feedback. And it would help if someone suggest what I should take for the 4th subject (hence all the slashes there).
There's, like, 80% I won't be able to go for it though (lots of reasons, but least of all is my qualifications because I do qualify), so I might end up going for Sunway College or INTI College to do my 'A' Levels... *sigh*

Time to do some plugging. While I was gone, it seems like everyone came up with new layouts!
Lele has a new Christmassy layout. Seems like everyone is on a Christmassy mood, as Psyche has a new Christmas layout and Tiffany launched a second golden Christmas layout this season for Verbiage. Ling has a new layout too, Harry Potter-themed. My Phonakins goes lime this time, and it looks good (and delicious, hehe). And I love Jun's new layout, she's a must-visit. And just moments ago (give or take an hour), Samantha finally has a new layout for her weblog!

I miss home. I miss all the things I get to do at home. I miss my pillow, my bed, my stuffed puppy... :'( But the good thing is that I get to hang out with my best friend for now, for a week. :) We're going to Midvalley Megamall tomorrow today for her to do some Christmas shopping (and speaking of that, her Christmas tree is pretty!).

The Lost Of A Pet
On another note, Tiffany's kitten, Salem, died (following the lost of two other kittens earlier on). :'( So... yeah. Go give her some love and hugs. She'll need them.
I was pretty depressed when my cat Mimi and her kittens were given away (I was 8, and my parents just didn't want cats around the house anymore), and then my dog Lucky died in May 1999. Of course, my parents asked me what was I crying about when I cried. :\ They didn't, and still don't, understand. To them, it was always "just a pet".

Fittingly Enough
Remember the Fantasy Log member profiles? I downloaded the profile image in my profile and implusively layered it with a picture of a pikachu so that I would fit in with Daynah's description of me.
This is the result of my work.
And so I showed it to her. And guess what she did? She uploaded it in place of the original profile image!
So the description of the new image now is Photoshop-ed by Daynah and then furthermore PSP-ed by Pei. *chuckles*

Look who has her own weblog now! :D Yes, this is a plug. Teehee. I love the colors she used, it's very soothing on the eyes, and the layout do look great in a weird way (weird because it normally wouldn't look nice when the image is situated like that, but for some reason it looks good that way).

Away Time For Next Week
I just realized when I look at the calendar today that I will not be here on Toothpaste Addict's first year anniversary. :( It's on December 10th, and I'll be gone starting from December 7th, if things go as planned.
*sigh* Maybe I can somehow sneak online and post a little note. ;P But I most probably won't have an access to the Internet during that 8 days I'll be in KL, so... yeah. I'll be spending time doing lots and lots of other stuff, and maybe meeting up with Tiffany again. :) Oh yeah, I'm way past my bloody parang days (they're too heavy to carry around all day anyway). No reason to be scared of the innocent Pei! ;D
Oh, and by the way, thanks goes to the people who plugged my journal. :)
Thinking Of A Revamp
And while we're at it, I'm in the process of thinking up a new layout for Divination (it's been three months since I last touched it, so there's a lot of dust now). :) I have no idea when it'll be done. Might be days, might be weeks, might be months. But I think I might take a different approach this time and experiment a lot. :D
And I'll probably make it even smaller and compact than it already is and leave out all the unnecessary things. Who actually go through those stuff anyway? *raises eyebrow* I'm not even all that interesting to being with.
So... yeah. :)
Random Thought Of The Day
I'm getting rather confused myself about what, or which is my "site". The weblog, the journal, or the personal playground? Or are they all just part of one big site, but interlinked sections of it...
Cause you know, they all used to be just one site. Now it's all referred differently, and has different URLs altogether (and people tend to mistake the weblog as the whole of my site when it's really just the most updated part of it).
Weird. O_o Was it caused by the different layouts?

New Journal Layout!
If you've been wondering why I haven't been blogging today, it's because I've been busy making the new journal layout. :) I got sick of the old one. Did it today. :) Inspiration struck.
And yes, I was playing around with brushes... so much that my computer nearly died on me (one main reason why I don't use Adobe Photoshop is because the amount of RAM it eats up whenever it's open). :\ And I still don't really know how to make good use of them yet. Nor do I really know how to make good use of the filters and the actions.
Oh well.

BLOGGED had a new Christmassy layout. :) But no, it's not blue and white. Lauryn took a different approach and made it warm and homey, contrasting with the boards snowflake layout.
Kind of like the weblog (as part of the domain) is the home and the boards is a place you go out to to play. *grins*
