A Flashback Of Betrayal
I got some pretty fucked up dreams yesterday night/today morning. A lot of it, all different and non-connected, but all of it focused around one subject too, and that is when all of my friends turned out to be two-faced, lying, betrayers. Even those that I trusted most, those that I thought were true friends, turned their backs to me.
As if crying when I'm awake is not enough, now I get to know that I cried when I was asleep too. You don't miss much when you wake up with a pillow that is still damp. Wonderful.
I think I need a break from the net. Or from life, if I can manage it.

Did I also tell you that I misplaced (and possibly lost) my wallet? You know, that thing that contains cash, identification card, ATM card, and all? I just found that out yesterday afternoon.
Yeah. So yesterday (and today) is not my day at all.

It's Been A Long Time Since I Exploded
It's almost 3AM. And I just got into a little tiff with my dad.
It wasn't all that "little" though, since it left him mad angry at me, and me mad angry at him. I cried, and he was saying something sarcastic about it, something that he had said over and over everytime he managed to reduce me to tears that it got on my nerves really bad this time.
So I shot back, through my tears, "It's me who's crying, why'd you care so much about that? It's not you who's crying" because he implied something along the lines that money holds much more importance over everything else.
Then he shouted at me in the car to shut up. And so I did.
Maybe I shouldn't have said that since he's my father, and I'm supposed to show him respect and all that crap, but I really couldn't take it anymore at that point.
I don't know what's wrong with me. *bites lips*

My naïveté annoys me. I feel like I'm constantly backed into a spot where I can't get away from, just because I was stupid enough to go for a walk at night.
On another note, I'm beginning to listen to Garbage again.

Impersonation Is The Last Straw
*sigh* I've been disturbed enough by a certain person who would not leave my weblog alone after being asked to. I'm sick of it. The last straw was when s/he went and impersonated Zhi Ling in my weblog comments. Zhi Ling happens to be a very close friend of mine and I don't like her name being associated with the likes of whoever that is.
I'm pissed. I banned the IP s/he used. If I accidentally banned anyone else, I'm sorry. But that was the last straw. Proud British member of the website my foot. I have better things to do with my time than deal with people like him/her.
I might have banned the whole UK for all I know, but heck, I'll find that out later.

Okay, this is a funny situation to be in. My dad just suggested to me a satellite net connection as well as a domain.
I don't know how to... uh, react?
Once upon a time I would've said yes immediately, but right now I'm wondering if all that will be a waste of money when it can be spent on my education (!!!) and other stuff. -_-;; And besides, I don't really go online all that much now, and I barely have enough time to maintain a site, let alone a domain.
Grr. Why do chances always come too late? I'm so irked! If only I had had the chance to get an offer like this... two years ago?

Listen, if you want to have all the fun you want and administrative power over the weblog, go build a community blog at Blogger and invite all of your friends there. You don't have to come whining to me, and you'd probably have more fun and learn something new (like what weblogs are for...).

I find it funny how each time I set up my father's email account for him, he would copy down the steps so that he wouldn't have to ask me to do it again everytime he formats his computer or change it or install a new OS or whatever (especially when I'm not on call 24/7 now since I'm in KL for college), but then again each time he'd yell for me to set it up for him. And when I said, "I thought you wrote down the information needed?"
He'd reply, "No, I didn't!"

Meowshi Moshi?
My glow-in-the-dark cat keychain (see cam image) now reigns as one of my precious possessions that I bring everywhere. I got it on March 24th, the day after my brother's birthday when I took my brother out on a birthday outing and treated him to lunch, ice cream, and a CD of his choice.
I saw a lot of other glow-in-the-dark things though, like glow-in-the-dark sheep set, glow-in-the-dark flying pigs set, on top of the usual glow-in-the-dark-stars. There are other stuff too, but those are what that caught my attention most. If I can get all the sheep and flying pigs and stars, I'd decorate my room with them. Hehehehe!
I love glow-in-the-dark things. They're so pretty. :D

Boo To Britney Spears
Oh yes. As I long predicted, Crossroads majorly sucked. I hadn't planned to watch it at the movie or even on VCD, but since my friend Valerie brought over the VCD yesterday (she came back to Kemaman with me), we spent yesterday night watching it.
I only have one positive thing to say about the movie, and that is Britney look pretty in there (on some scenes, while she look weird on others). It doesn't even have a decent plot, and it doesn't really follow the "dreams change, friends are forever" line. The only part that can be related to dreams changing and friends being forever is the starting five minutes and the ending five minutes. And utterly predictable, Britney is always the one who saves the day in every occasion.

Even Hunger Can't Keep Me Away
I'm so hungry right now. *stomach growls* I actually came into the library to renew a book (John Irving's The Cider House Rules that I've been reading for the past... two days?) so that if I happen to return back to college late (it's only for two weeks, and my holidays are two weeks plus weekends), I won't have to pay up that much of the late fees. I need something to read anyhow (and am extremely tempted to borrow another while I'm at it... I just counted that I've read about 14 non-school books since I came here).
But when I got in here, the whole place was practically deserted, unlike how it normally would be (packed). So I couldn't resist the temptation of going online and all again, since I have some time while my parents are off doing whatever business they have to do in KL. They'll be picking me up at around 5PM or 6PM, so I have until then to do whatever I want.
Isn't life blissful? :)
But I have to tear myself away from the computer before I starve myself to death in front of it. *crosses fingers* I promise I will.

No worries. I'll add and subtract when I finally get up a new layout. The good news is that I think I got an idea of what I want to do already, even if it's a little on the simple side. I spent a part of yesterday night working on a journal layout until I was rudely interrupted by an ambush staged by a mob of flying cockroaches (I don't mind crawling ones, but bugs that fly really ticks me off).
I fought and withstood the ambush for maybe 2 hours before I retreated into the safety haven of the bedroom.
I hate cockroaches. Grr. >:O Don't they understand an artist at work?!
P.S.: Yes, I know how ridiculous I sound. I'm irked.

Why is it that even my friends and classmates here know that I have crappy self-esteem? Is it really that obvious? Ugh. Oh, but the contradicting part of it all is that they don't believe I'm in introvert either. Amusing.
Oh, most of them didn't believe I have pronunciation problems (since I learned English through reading and writing, mostly), thus I might have trouble in the speaking part of the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) exam that I'm sitting for in May. And I'm not even attending the workshop thingy because it's a little too late to sign up for that.

I haven't done a single new layout at all during my time here, and everyone else online is onto new layout every other day. Goodness. And my creative juices are not flowing at all, and is doubtful I'll get anything done in the two-week break I'll be having.

Funny. Library computers seems to hate The Protagonist Forums. But I shouldn't complain since I'm not shelling out of my own pocket for this. And I can stay here for as long as I want (until people start staring at me weird, that is) till closing hours (9PM). It's still weird though. The domain name is not banned. It just wouldn't load the forums.

Odd One Out
Something funny happened on March 21st. There was a huge leap in hits to my now-dead journal, Dear Diary. And I can't find the referrer, if there is one.

But anyway, I found this and I look back in amusement. I think I'm still pretty much the same. :P But these days I tend to tip the spoon and fork facing downwards after finishing a meal too, so I'm getting better table manners in just that. *chuckles*
I haven't been updating Piffle. Don't bother. Yet.
Cut & Paste
A few days back, I cut myself in the mirror. With the mirror. It stopped bleeding after a while, but it didn't heal. And now it's bleeding again after a small pressure applied to the wrong place.
This must be the longest-lasting small cut I ever had (and I've been through a lot of small cuts the past few years), and it's one of the smallest (half a centimeter).
Small and hard to heal. Why is that?
March-April Birthdays
It's my dad's birthday today. I called him up earlier to wish him a happy birthday. And I'd been thinking since last month on what to get him (to accompany the birthday card), but I still don't know!
Lot's of birthdays in March and April. My younger brother's birthday just passed too (I treated him to a day's fun at Megamall when he was down here the day after his birthday, inclusive of lunch, ice cream, and a CD). And eldest brother's birthday is in 10 days time.
And I think my parternal grandmother's birthday is sometime soon too...
Too many Arieses in my family. :P
