The scary thing is that one of my apartment mates took IT throughout form four and form five, and she tried to copy a few full-length MP3 songs into a floppy disk along with Winamp (the program, yes!).
lol... my mom's not exactly 100% computer-illeterate but she's busy with school, housework and stuff so i help her type exam & test papers, type the school exam analysis, type her chemistry teaching plan, help with science presentation (using flash). you name it, i do it. :D
one of my ex-schoolmates was the funniest computer-illiterates i've ever met. imagine, she has a computer for more than 6 years already and then she called me up and asked me how to copy something into a diskette!!! O_O
I find it funny how each time I set up my father's email account for him, he would copy down the steps so that he wouldn't have to ask me to do it again everytime he formats his computer or change it or install a new OS or whatever (especially when I'm not on call 24/7 now since I'm in KL for college), but then again each time he'd yell for me to set it up for him. And when I said, "I thought you wrote down the information needed?"
